Locations and Hours
The University offers several Dining plans consisting of all-you-care-to-eat meals at John Jay Dining Hall, Ferris Booth Commons, or JJ's Place. All meals are accessed by University ID card and billed to the Columbia student account.
GS Dining Plan | Dining Plan E
Columbia Dining created a Dining plan option designed specifically to meet the unique needs of GS students; the plan was created by GS students in concert with Columbia Dining staff.
The GS student plan, Dining Plan E, provides students with the flexibility to stretch their meals across the entire academic year and allows them to add meals if they run out. It includes 75 meals plus 75 Dining Dollars for $997/year.
Students should contact Columbia Dining for details about enrollment in Dining Plan E. Online enrollment is not available.
As some of the units in University Apartment Housing (UAH) are equipped with kitchens, it is not necessary for students to buy dining plans who do not require one.

Columbia Dining's registered dietician is available on-campus as well as online to address questions and concerns regarding students' nutrition and dietary needs, including providing individual consultation and customized meal planning.
