European Scholarships

European citizens residing in the European Economic Area may be eligible to apply for either a CROUS Scholarship (French nationals) or a Sciences Po Europe Scholarship (non-French EU citizens). Sciences Po supplements the CROUS bursary with an automatic additional cost of living bursary equivalent to 75% of the amount disbursed by the CROUS, provided that the student does not benefit from the CROUS merit bursary. The additional cost of living bursary is disbursed to students registered at the undergraduate or graduate level.

Once you apply, depending on your parents' gross income and family expense points ("points de charge"), you will be assigned an eligibility level that will determine your scholarship amount.

The figures in the table below represent the amount that you may receive from CROUS or from Sciences Po based on the information provided in your application and the eligibility level you are assigned.

Note: The figures below are for the 2023-2024 academic year; they are subject to change for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Please note that the figures shown above are only estimates, and that it is not possible to guarantee exact scholarship amounts until you have verified your eligibility and your completed scholarship application is evaluated by Sciences Po and the CROUS.
